Ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 ounces beer (choose your favorite type, such as lager or ale)
- 1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
3. Pour the beer into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. The batter will be thick and sticky.
4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth out the top.
5. Pour the melted butter over the top of the batter.
6. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
7. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
