Ingredients:
4 cups cranberry juice
2 cups apple cider
1/4 cup honey or sweetener of choice
2 cinnamon sticks
4 whole cloves
2 star anise (optional)
1 orange, sliced
Instructions:
In a large saucepan, combine the cranberry juice, apple cider, honey, cinnamon sticks, cloves, star anise, and orange slices.
Heat over medium heat until the mixture is hot but not boiling. Let it simmer gently for 15-20 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Remove from heat and strain out the spices and orange slices.
Serve warm in mugs, optionally garnished with a slice of orange or a cinnamon stick.
