If exhaustion is your default setting, you’re not alone. Chronic fatigue, brain fog, and dragging yourself through the day aren’t just “getting older” — they’re red flags. Time to figure out why your battery is always in low-power mode.

Oh, the joys of feeling like absolute garbage day in and day out. We’ve all been there—dragging ourselves through life with zero energy, mysterious aches, and that charming sense of doom lurking in the background. That was me. A walking, talking, exhausted mess. I felt like a human dumpster fire of guilt, confusion, fear, and good ol’ depression. My health was a disaster, and honestly, I had no clue how to fix it.

But here’s the thing: instead of resigning myself to a lifetime of barely functioning, I decided to experiment. I learned. I changed things. Turns out, when you stop treating your body like a trash can, it actually thanks you. Who knew? Small shifts—like eating actual food (not just things labeled as “food”), creating routines that didn’t involve chaos, and adjusting my mindset—transformed everything. I stopped feeling like a bloated corpse and started regaining energy, confidence, and dare I say, actual joy. The moral of the story? No matter how lost and defeated you feel, you can take back control. Just, you know, maybe don’t wait until you hit rock bottom.

Speaking of rock bottom, my journey was basically a crash course in what not to do. I fell for every trendy diet promising overnight results—only to find myself in a vicious cycle of restriction, bingeing, and gut-wrecking chaos. My microbiome? Absolutely wrecked. I was basically the poster child for how to destroy your digestion in three easy steps. Looking back, it’s painfully obvious that everything I thought was “healthy” was actually wrecking my body. It took me a minute (okay, years), but I finally figured out that real health isn’t about extreme dieting or punishing yourself. It’s about balance, self-compassion, and not treating your body like a science experiment gone wrong.
