Ingredients:
- 2 cups water
- 1 apple, thinly sliced
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 whole cloves
- 1 black tea bag (or use a caffeine-free herbal tea)
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
Instructions:
1. In a small pot, bring water, apple slices, cinnamon sticks, and cloves to a boil.
2. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Add the tea bag and steep for an additional 3-5 minutes.
4. Remove the tea bag, strain the tea into mugs, and sweeten with honey or maple syrup if desired.
5. Garnish with extra apple slices or a cinnamon stick.
