The latest from my world—Feeling burnout creeping in, so I’m forcing myself to slow down and be more intentional. I love writing—so much so that I feel called to do it every single day. But let’s be real… sometimes that’s just not feasible. Rest and restoration are just as important as those energy surges of inspiration.
In the meantime, I’m jotting down all the ideas and thoughts that pop into my head—because, let’s face it, this brain never turns off, even when my body does. Seriously, why hasn’t someone invented a device that transcribes every passing thought for me yet? (Looking at you, tech geniuses.)
Don’t worry—my last creative surge was very productive, so I have a stockpile of articles ready to roll. You won’t notice a slow-down on your end. But for me? I need to nurture my body a bit more so I don’t burn out and start spiraling into those all-too-familiar “I can’t keep up” thoughts. This is a marathon, not a sprint, and I plan to keep going strong.
